Data sheet
5-Amino-1MQ
This preview is the one-page Alpine Ascent sheet for 5-Amino-1MQ. It is the reference copy for reconstitution, frequency, and the figures printed on the sheet. Open it when you want the full page.
What it is
5-Amino-1MQ is studied for inhibiting nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme involved in cellular metabolism and energy regulation. NNMT is active in fat cells and has been linked to metabolic regulation and weight gain. By blocking this enzyme, 5-Amino-1MQ is researched for support of normal metabolic function, a fat-burning state, cellular NAD+ availability, and mitochondrial function and energy expenditure. Human research is still limited.
What researchers study it for
- Body recomposition and weight management
- Metabolic support and energy regulation
- Mitochondrial function and energy expenditure
- Mental clarity and cognitive support
- Healthy NAD+ levels
- Overall metabolic efficiency
How it may work
- Inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT)
- May promote a fat-burning metabolic state
- May support healthy NAD+ availability
- May enhance mitochondrial function and energy expenditure
- May support body recomposition and weight management
- May support mental clarity and cognitive function
Research timeline
1–2 weeks
Early changes in energy, focus, or metabolic function may be noted.
Weeks 3–4
Metabolic efficiency and energy levels may begin to improve.
Weeks 6–8
Gradual improvements in body composition and mental clarity may be observed.
90–120 days
Continued benefits may be assessed over a full cycle. Results are variable and human research is still limited.
